I remember the day of December 24, 2022, when I did volunteer work with some friends by dressing up as Santa. We worked in groups of five, dressing up as Santa and visiting homes where children lived.
​
When the children shouted, "Santa Claus!" we burst through the door and approached them laughing "Ho ho ho." We asked Pokémon trivia questions and heaped praise on the children when they got a question right. We also danced like idol stars to BTS's "Butter." Finally, we took gifts from our sacks and presented them to the children. Their faces lit up with excitement.

I also became close friends with the people I met through this volunteer activity. We've kept in touch regularly. I hope we'll be able to spend Christmas together again in 2023.

2022년 12월 24일, 친구들과 함께 산타로 변장해 봉사 활동을 한 날이 떠오릅니다. 5명이 한 팀이 되어 산타 옷을 입고 아이들이 살고 있는 가정집에 방문하였습니다.
​
아이들이 "산타 할아버지!" 하고 큰 소리로 외치면, 문을 열고 들어가 "허허허!" 웃으며 그들에 게 다가갔습니다. 포켓몬 퀴즈를 내고 아이들이 정답을 맞히면 아낌없이 칭찬해 주었습니다.
BTS의 '버터'라는 노래에 맞춰 아이돌 춤도 선보였습니다. 마지막으로 선물 꾸러미에서 선물을 꺼내 아이들에게 전달하였습니다. 아이들의 표정은 설렘으로 가득했습니다.
​
또한 이 봉사 활동을 통해 만난 분들과도 친해져서, 꾸준히 연락을 주고받으며 지냅니다. 2023 년 크리스마스도 우리가 다시 함께 보낼 수 있으면 좋겠습니다.
