Motorcycle Honeymoon

I got hitched in 1982. Right after the wedding, I bought a motorcycle, had my bride get on the back, and set off on our honeymoon to Jeju Island. We took a boat from Mokpo to Jeju and spent five days exploring the island. We didn't book any accommodations and wandered without a specific destination, staying in motels when the sun set.

On the way back, I checked with the airline and found out that I could transport the motorcycle on a plane, So, we loaded the motorcycle and traveled to Busan Airport, toured Gyeongju, and finally made our way back to Jeonju.

We planned another trip on a motorcycle for our 25th wedding anniversary. However, the airline said motorcycles couldn't be transported on planes anymore. So, we went to Jeju Island, rented a motorcycle, and toured around again.

오토바이를 비행기에 싣고 떠난 신혼여행

나는 1982년에 결혼했다. 길혼식을 마치자마자 오토바이를 한 대 사서, 신부를 뒤에 태우고 제주도로 신혼여행을 떠났다. 목포에서 배를 타고 제주도에 도착해서 5일간 제주도를 여행했다.

우리는 숙소 예약도 하지 않고 목적지도 없이 다니면서, 해가 지면 모텔에 들어가서 잤다. 돌아오는 길에는, 항공사에 문의를 해보니 오토바이를 비행기에 실을 수 있다고 했다. 그래서 오토바이를 싣고 부산 공항까지 이동한 후, 경주를 구경하고 마침내 전주로 돌아왔다.

결혼 25주년 기념으로 우리는 또 다시 오토바이 여행을 계획했다. 그러나 항공사에서는 이제 오토바이 는 절대 비행기에 실을 수 없다고 했다. 그래서 우리는 제주도에 가서 오토바이를 렌트 하여 다시 타고 다녔다.
