I gave birth to my first daughter through natural childbirth, and then five years later, I became pregnant with my second child. But even as my belly swelled, the baby's head didn't descend. As the due date approached, my OB/GYN recommended seeing a doctor with a lot of experience in turning breech babies.

I was lying down on a medical exam table next to the ultrasound equipment, when the doctor came in and suddenly pressed firmly on my belly. It was so painful that I screamed out loud. The doctor firmly grasped my stomach above the baby's head and pressed while turning it sideways. Suddenly, I felt the baby sliding downward. The nurses cheered and clapped, and I was overjoyed too.

A few weeks later, I met my adorable second child right on schedule.
It was truly an amazing and wonderful experience.

저는 첫째 딸을 자연 분만으로 낳고 나서 5년 뒤 둘째를 임신했습니다. 그런데 배가 점점 불러 오는데도 아기 머리가 아래로 내려가지 않았습니다. 출산 예정일이 다가올 즈음, 제 담당 산부 인과 의사는 역아회전술에 경험이 많은 의사와 상담해 보라고 권했습니다.

초음파 장비 옆 진찰대에 누워 있는데, 의사 선생님이 들어오셔서 갑자기 제 배를 꾹 하고 강하 게 누르셨습니다. 저는 너무 아파서 "악!" 하고 비명을 질렀습니다. 선생님이 배 위에서 아기 머 리를 손으로 꽉 움켜쥐더니 꾹 누르면서 옆으로 돌리셨습니다. 아기가 갑자기 밑으로 쑥 내려가 는 느낌이 들었습니다. 간호사들은 일제히 박수를 치며 환호했고, 저도 너무 기뻤습니다.

몇 주 후 저는 예정일에 맞춰 귀여운 둘째를 만났습니다. 정말 신기하고도 경이로운 경험이었습니다.
