대전 여행기

I made travel plans with a close friend since high school to celebrate each other's birthdays. Since we live far apart in Seoul and Ulsan, we chose the midway point of Daejeon as our destination. I was really looking forward to it because I had never set foot in Daejeon before. I boarded the train and met my friend at Daejeon Station.

For lunch, we headed to a noodle place that serves knife-cut noodles.
It was bustling with people when we arrived. When we finally tasted the food after a long wait, we were really impressed. It made me understand why people keep going to must-eat restaurants.

Next, we went to a coffee shop on the 38th floor of a high-rise building.
As we soaked up the view of Daejeon, we talked about how we'd been lately and discussed our plans for the future.

서로의 생일을 축하해 주기 위해 고등학교 때부터 친했던 친구와 여행 계획을 세웠습니다. 우리 는 각각 서울과 울산에 멀리 떨어져 살고 있어서 여행 장소는 중간 지점인 대전으로 선택했습니 다. 대전 땅은 밟아 본 적이 없었기에 무척 설레었습니다. 기차에 몸을 싣고 대전역에서 친구를 만났습니다.

점심을 먹기 위해 칼국수 집으로 향했습니다. 도착하니 사람들로 북적북적했습니다. 오랜 기다 림 끝에 마침내 음식을 먹어 보니, 감탄이 절로 나왔습니다. 이래서 사람들이 맛집에 계속 오는 구나 싶었습니다.

다음으로 우리는 고층 건물 38층에 위치한 커피숍으로 발걸음을 옮겼습니다. 대전의 도심 풍경 을 만끽하면서 그동안 어떻게 지냈는지 근황 얘기도 하고 앞으로의 계획에 대해서도 이야기를 나누었습니다.
