우리 가족의 영어 낭독 문화

Every Saturday, I take some time to recite English with the kids. The children naturally started to take an interest in English as they watched me reciting it every day.

I recite stories from the "ged" English textbook that I want to share with the kids. My eldest son reads English newspaper articles, and my younger daughter reads from picture books. I was pleasantly surprised to see the children preparing and practicing so diligently. The children's excitement and anticipation as they wait for recitation time are just adorable.

After the recitation, we discuss which parts we found interesting or impressive.
It's precious family time for us as we listen to each other's stories, think, and empathize with each other. I believe that as we recite English as a family, our English skills are growing.

매주 토요일마다 저는 아이들과 함께 영어 낭독하는 시간을 갖고 있습니다. 제가 매일 낭독을 하는 모 습을 보고 아이들도 자연스럽게 영어에 관심을 갖게 되었어요.

저는 '입트영' 영어 교재에서 아이들에게 들려주고 싶은 이야기를 낭독합니다. 첫째 아들은 영어 신문 기사를, 그리고 둘째 딸은 그림책을 낭독합니다. 아이들이 무척 열심히 준비하고 연습하는 모습에 저 는 기분 좋게 놀랐습니다. 그리고 낭독 시간을 기다리며 설레어 하는 아이들의 모습이 귀엽기까지 했 습니다.

낭독이 끝나면 흥미롭거나 인상 깊었던 부분에 대해 서로 이야기도 나눕니다. 이 시간은 서로의 이야 기를 들으며, 생각하고, 공감할 수 있는 우리 가족만의 소중한 시간입니다. 영어 낭독을 가족이 함께하 면서 저와 아이들의 영어 실력도 한층 성장하고 있다고 생각합니다.
