온라인 댓글의 중요성

The literal meaning of an online comment is a short response to the original content of a post on the internet. In modern society, comments have become a genre of their own, used to express various opinions. What's more, you can often find a great play on words in a witty comment. A single online comment can either hurt the author's feelings or bring joy to their heart.

Spoken language may disperse and vanish, but written language is preserved in that space. It can extend a helping hand for some, or kick others off a cliff.

If we were to gather all the online comments we've left to date, it might serve as a fearful mirror reflecting our past, present, and future. I believe that if I support an author's courage and confessions by leaving a sincere comment, that happiness will find its way back to me. Today, as always, I try to express this sentiment in the comments I write.

댓글의 사전적 의미는 '인터넷에 오른 원문에 대하여 짤막하게 답하여 올리는 글'이다. 현대 사회에서 댓글은 다양한 의견을 표현하는 또 다른 장르가 되었고, 게다가 재치 있는 댓글들은 언어유희의 최고 봉일 때도 있다. 또한 한 줄의 댓글이 글쓴이의 마음을 아프게도 하고 기쁘게도 한다.

말의 언어는 흩어져 없어지지만, 글의 언어는 그 공간에 박제되어 남아 있게 된다. 누군가를 돕는 손길 이 되기도 하며, 누군가를 낭떠러지로 미는 발길질이 되기도 한다.

우리가 지금까지 남긴 댓글들을 모두 모은다면 우리 자신의 과거, 현재, 그리고 미래를 보여 주는 두련 운 거울이 될지도 모른다. 한 줄 댓글에 진심을 담아 글쓴이의 용기와 고백을 격려한다면, 그 행복이 결국 나한테 돌아온다고 믿는다. 늘 그렇듯 오늘도 그러한 마음을 댓글에 담아 본다.
