My room was not getting cooled properly because it was a bit far from the floor-standing air conditioner in the living room.

It would be a bit challenging to install a wall-mounted air conditioner in my room because they require an outdoor unit. Meanwhile, a system air conditioner in the ceiling was out of the question because it would be way too expensive.

내 방은 거실에 있는 스탠드 에어컨과 좀 멀리 떨어져 있어서 냉방이 잘 안 되었다.

벽걸이 에어컨은 실외기까지 설치해야 해서 내 방에 설치하기에는 조금 무리가 있었다. 한편, 천장에 설치하는 시스템 에어컨은 비용이 상당히 들 것 같아서 애당초 포기했다.

그래서 이동식 에어컨과 창문형 에어컨 중 하나를 고르기 위해 인터넷을 찾아보았다. 각각 일장일단이 있었다. 결국 창문형 에어컨을 구매하기로 결정했다. 하지만 설치를 하고 나니, 창문을 조금밖에 열지 못한다는 것을 알게 되었다. 다행히 내 방에는 창문이 하나 더 있어서 환기에 대한 걱정은 할 필요가 없다.

소음도 그리 크지 않고, 게다가 에너지 소비 효율도 1등급이어서 전기세 부담도 덜 수 있다. AVS도 평 생 보증이 된다고 하니 구입한 제품에 대해 대만족이다.
