아이를 기다리는 것에 대하여

Hearing the story of "Waiting for a Baby" among the topics in the April issue of the "입트영" study material, I could relate to the storyteller's feelings. I, too, went through challenging times due to infertility.

When my husband and I couldn't conceive after four years of marriage, we went to get checked up. We were told at the clinic that chances were slim to none that we could conceive naturally. They suggested in vitro fertilization, and we took their advice. Fortunately, I became pregnant on our first try.

The birth of our first child was a huge blessing for us. After the first baby's first birthday, we conceived naturally and I became pregnant with our second. And now, four years after our second baby was born, I am pregnant with our third child at the age of 41.

I hope that my story can be a source of hope for prospective mothers eagerly awaiting a child. I also pray that the miracle that happened to me may happen to them as well.

'입트영' 교재 4월호 주제 중 '아이를 기다리는 것'이라는 사연을 접하면서, 사연자의 마음이 그대로 느 껴졌다. 나 또한 난임으로 힘든 시간을 겪었기 때문이다.

남편과 나는 결혼 후 4년 동안 아이가 생기지 않아서 검사를 받으러 갔었다. 병원에서는 우리가 자연 임신에 성공할 확률이 매우 낮다고 했다. 시험관 시술을 권했고 우리는 병원에서 권한 대로 하게 되었 다. 다행히 첫 시술에 임신이 되어 아이를 갖게 되었다.

첫 아이의 출생은 우리 부부에게 큰 기쁨이었다. 아이의 첫돌이 지나고 우리는 자연 임신으로 둘째 아 이를 갖게 되었다. 둘째 아이를 낳고 4년이 지난 지금, 41살의 나이에 셋째를 임신 중에 있다.

아이를 간절히 기다리는 예비 엄마들에게 나의 이야기가 희망이 되기를 바란다. 그리고 나에게 일어난 기적이 그들에게도 일어나기를 기도한다.
