One day, while organizing my bank statements, I came across a monthly deposit labeled "Practice Points." I wondered what it could be, when it finally dawned on me!


Last year, I was in charge of the environmental conservation efforts at our company. I introduced the "Carbon Neutral Points System" as something that employees could easily practice in daily life. I signed up for it myself to lead by example.

This system awards individual points to participants who engage in carbon-neutral activities in their daily lives. It was put into effect starting in January, 2022.


After registering on the website, participants can earn points for activities such as using reusable cups, renting eco-friendly cars, and using refill stations.

The annual limit is 70,000 won per person.

어느 날 통장 정리를 하다가 매달 '실천 포인트'라는 것이 입금되고 있는 것을 발견했다. 이게 무엇인 지 궁금해하다가, 드디어 생각이 났다!


나는 작년에 회사에서 환경 보전 업무를 담당했었다. 직원들이 일상생활에서 쉽게 실천할 수 있는 활 동으로 '탄소 중립 포인트 제도'를 소개했었다. 그러면서 내가 솔선수범하는 마음으로 직접 가입했던 것이었다.

이 제도는 일상생활 속에서 탄소 중립 활동을 실천하는 참여자에게 개인별 포인트가 지급되는 제도이 다. 2022년 1월부터 시행되었다.


홈페이지에서 회원 가입을 한 후, 다회용 컵 사용, 친환경 자동차 대여, 리필 스테이션 이용 등의 활동 을 하면 포인트를 지급받을 수 있다. 연간 상한액은 개인당 7만원이다.
